I am an indian & I want to know at what age kid will join play school, Pre Nursery & Nursery school?

I have a baby of 2yr.9 months so i want to know what is the best age to join play school, Pre Nursery & Nursery school

The 2 yr old can go into a play program now—they will usually be a couple of times per week for short periods (1-2 hours). 3 year old nursery school programs are usually 3 to 5 days per week and are for longer time periods. Pre-K starts at age 4.

    A Year before they start regular school.

    it is time for ur baby to go to play school once she/he is 3yrs and 6 months she/he can be admitted in nursery school. i dont think it is necessary to send the baby to pre nursery.

    put him or her in a play school. it gives u some time off and weans the child from the mother too. kg starts at 4.

    I am indian too. We got our kids to play school about this age. It helped them a lot, specially with the communication skills. Now at age 4 they speak better english than we do and are very comfortable with other kids. Good luck.

    Hi I am a childcare provider. Have you looked into Native American programs? As an infant there are mommy and me programs however your baby is to old for that but your child is ready to start a preschool program. It is really important to your child to be around other kids either his age or a variety of ages. Social skills are learned at a young age. Good luck and I hope you do enroll your child in a preschool program soon.
