Limited edition prints from Ruth Green Design

I feature a lot of artwork for children’s spaces because looking for contemporary pieces to stamp your own individual style on rooms is something that a lot of parents attack with gusto. If 60s and 70s inspired original artwork is your thing, you’ll love the limited edition silkscreen prints by Birmingham based printmaker, Ruth Green, who has been commissioned by the likes of Ikea and The Art Group. Capturing British wildlife and the countryside in retro colours and patterns, they’re hand prod

Hi i was wondering when and how i go about enrolling my daughter in a nursery school.?

She's 10 months old now, however i wont be sending her to nursery until she's 2 (Northern Ireland). Who do i contact etc- thanks!

Well I work in a nursery in the UK… what you would need to do is, search online for nurseries in your local area, give them a call and show your interest, they will then most probably ask you a few details and send you out an information pack with everything you need to know about their nursery, e.g. cost, opening times, t&c's etc. Then what they will probably do, is invite you to have a look around their nursery and give you the opportunity to ask any questions. I would advise you to look at as many nurseries as you can. Once you have found the right one you will know it. Hope this helps :-)

How to Shop for Toddler Sheet Sets for Your Preschool Daughter

Surely you haven’t forgotten the time when your little girl was first placed in your arms on the day she was born. You couldn’t stop crying because you knew that this was the most wonderful present you could possibly have. Baby girls are wonderful, but they are certain to grow up eventually. As the years pass your baby will turn into a vivacious toddler! This is an amazing stage in a baby’s life. Your toddler may get a room of their own, but it’s also okay to simply give them a space in your

my grand daughter is going to nursery school. What lunch meal should I prepare for her instead of hotdogs.?

my daughter likes turkey sandwiches, peanut butter sandwiches (with or without jelly, depends on her mood), blocks of cheese (chedder, havarti, provolone, pepper jack, jarlsberg), lunchmeat, salami,

apples, oranges, broccoli, tomatoes (cut up in a tuperware with a spoon), carrot, celery, (with a little thing of dip. sometimes when i have fast food, i stock up on sides of ranch dressing so she doesn't lose the tupperware)

fruit snacks, sesame sticks, wheat thins, rosemary triscuits, pirates booty (it's an all natural cheese puffed corn), granola bars

i know there's more. i just try to give her a variety so she doesn't get sick of it. she eats pretty well and likes a lot, so it's easy for me. good luck!

Keep Your Baby Safe and Fashionable with Baby Crib Bedding

In: Home Family 13Jun2009 by Dorothea FranksonNursery crib bedding brings to mind an infant’s need for warmth, comfort and feelings of security when they are sleeping. Besides comfort, baby crib bedding also protects your child. This is the first line of defense between the cold of the outside world and your infant. Crib safety bars are usually padded with bumpers as a protection for the baby. There is an increased risk of an infant’s limbs getting trapped between a crib’s rungs if baby bump

What is the rough price of private full-time creche/nursery school in London?

I am thinking about the cost implications of a private creche in London. I hear it is extremely expensive - none of the websites advertise costs. Does anyone have a rough price for full-time care of a 14 month baby. Thanks

Depends on which part of London you live. South-East, around £150-200 per week. North and West London…a lot more. Have you thought about using a childminder? If you find the right one, they can be a bit cheaper and a lot more flexible.

Love at First Snuggle: Couch Blanket from OrganicBlankees.com

From the moment she was born, my daughter has loved being wrapped up in a cuddly blanket. Sure, that’s normal for newborns who are still getting used to life outside the warmth of the womb. But my daughter never really outgrew this particular attachment. Luckily for us, she’s not attached to any one particular blanket — just to blankets in general. This means she carries them around the house and always wants to be wrapped, or covered up or otherwise near the comfort of her snuggie-of-the -momen
