I am an indian & I want to know at what age kid will join play school, Pre Nursery & Nursery school?

I have a baby of 2yr.9 months so i want to know what is the best age to join play school, Pre Nursery & Nursery school

The 2 yr old can go into a play program now—they will usually be a couple of times per week for short periods (1-2 hours). 3 year old nursery school programs are usually 3 to 5 days per week and are for longer time periods. Pre-K starts at age 4.

Bayon Nursery by Moune’s Neighborhood

What a sweet nursery ! It comes with many additional and decorative objects, plus recolors. Great for both genders and in my opinion, I think it could look great in beach houses.

when did you start your children in nursery school?

my daughter is almost 7 months old.i started looking at nursery school so i would be prepared. but i am thinking of not even sending her to school and home schooling her. what did you do and how did you make your decision? thank you

My daughter started nursery in May she was 2 years and 10 months. The nursery wouldn’t take her any earlier but believe if they had I would have sent her.
In the couple of months before she started she was obviously getting bored just being at home with me and her baby brother (I work from home so unfortunately I don’t have as much time as I would like to keep her entertained). She started to become quite naughty and it just wasn’t like her.
She’s now back to her normal self I’m glad. She loves to do different things each day, see her little friends and take her lunch box with a snack in it like a big school girl. She also has a better bedtime routine now because I think they must wear her out. It’s great.

Nursery University

Recently, Mom in the City reviewer Jennifer Lehner attended a private screening of the upcoming movie Nursery University, a film which exposes the comedic aspects of the cut-throat world of pre-school admissions. Jennifer’s thoughts… Gone are the days when preschool meant plunking down $35.00 for annual tuition and dropping your kid off in the church basement at [...]

How do you write a nice presentation as a Nursery School Teacher to parent?

I'm a Nursery School Assistant Teacher. The School is about to close Because the head teacher is leaving and the parent wants me to take it up. Now they are asking me to do a presentation. so, I need some one to help me through this. Every begining is hard.

Talk to them about how wonderful it has been to work with the children and their families. Everyone likes to hear about themselves. You might have a few pieces of art the children have made or pictures of special events.

Talk about future goals and how you look forward to partnering with them. Then let them know when you are available to meet with them to discuss their child.

Announce an upcoming event and invite them to sign up as volunteers.

Relax, be yourself and let your enjoyment of children shine through. Good luck! =)

Florida Anise: Evergreen, Drought Tolerant, Deer Resistant!

One of my favorite native shrubs is Florida Anise. Illicium floridanum actually makes a tree about 10 feet tall. The evergreen leaves are dark and shiny. Very unusual red flowers appear in spring and have star-like petals. Once flowers fade, large star-shaped seed pods develop–very unusual. Drought tolerant once established, Florida Anise is a good choice for the southern garden. Native to Florida and Louisiana, Illicium Floridanum is too tender for northern gardens as it is hardy in USDA Zon

I live on long island- any ideas of very cheap or free nursery school?

I have a four year old who really wants to go to school, but we can't afford it. I tried getting her into universal pre- K but it is all filled up. She is sad that everybody is going to nursery school and she isn't. We do the library things, but she is really ready for kindergarden but a year too younge. Does anybody know of any free or very low rates on pre-school?

What age do children start nursery and school?

My son is 18 months now and I was just wondering what age he would start nursery and school? He was born the beginning of Febuary. Should I be putting his name on a waiting list now or is it still a bit early

Sorry I ment goverment run nursery

I think your child is old enough to start nursery school.

He will learn social skills but just remember, it will seem like the wrong thing in the beginning when he cries every time you take him to school because of anxiety separation from you, but this is normal.

Good luck!
